11/7/2022 0 Comments The death cure ending![]() ![]() ![]() Also just read first part of prequel and the prologue confirms for me that Teresa loved Thomas more than best friends, as she couldn't imagine forgetting him. Sorry for ranting but that ending got me almost as stirred up as HIMYM. Honestly I didn't like Teresa that much, but I liked her more than Brenda and her and Thomas made 10x more sense then someone who appears mid series who pretty much seduces the main character in like 2 weeks. Meanwhile, the Right Arm, Thomas, and the remainder of his friends attempt to build a new society on an island away from the rest of the world. Teresa was pretty much nonexistent until the last 5 percent of the third book it seemed even though she is arguably the second most important character in the series since she and Thomas made the trials together. By the time The Death Cure ends, it seems the majority of humanity has descended into the chaotic world weve seen outside the city walls throughout the entire film franchise. In the end, Thomas even though he went through so much, only whined about Chuck and was worried about Brenda after the second book concluded. I suppose Thomas did love Teresa, but he couldnt get past the betrayal and he didn't want to hurt like that again, even though if i recall correctly he was having thoughts about Brenda before being betrayed. He’s heading to the Last City to rescue an old friend, but he’s got some help. O’Brien is back as the Glader known as Thomas, following an on-set injury that delayed the film’s release. Maze Runner: The Death Cure Official Final Trailer HD 20th Century FOX. All the while he is willing to take everything Brenda says as the pure honest truth, even though she could have betrayed him just as easily since she was a part of WICKD and all, deceiving him as well. By the end credits you may forget the questions. Teresa reminds me of a water-downed version of Snape, not as complex or brilliant in character but both got snubbed in love and saw their love with their rival/hated person and in the end made the sacrifice. Teresa loved him unconditionally, saving his life twice in as many weeks I believe and making the ultimate sacrifice for him out of sheer love added on top of the fact that her and Thomas were inseperable pre-Maze trial, only to be unforgiven and hated by Thomas even after learning what she did was to potentially save him, but he confused her love guided attempt with WICKED's deceitful ways, thinking she was secretly a part of them in some way since all she said was either "I'm sorry" or "WICKED is good". But that doesnt begin to describe how TERRIBLE (sorry I have no other words) the ending was. The love triangle failed miserably, with Thomas ending up with the lesser of both girls in my honest opinion. The Maze Runner: The Death Cure directed by Wes Ball and starring Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Kaya Scodelario arrives in UK cinemas on Friday 26th January 2018.I disliked the ending very much. ![]() The series of three movies are actually Ball’s first feature films that’s a lot of pressure for someone new, but he’s handled the responsibility well. Ahead of the release we sat down in a very posh central London hotel to talk to Wes Ball all about his Maze Runner journey, and what fans can expect from the finale. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Well, at the end of Book Two, we left Thomas in a white room, alone. In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. Thomas has been running around ragged during the first two books of The Maze Runner series: first he had to escape the Maze with his Glader friends in Book One then, in Book Two, he had to endure the Scorch Trials, a deadly trek through a hot, barren wasteland.Talk about having a bad few weeks.
